To open a database from a known Domino server
If you know the name of the Domino server a database is on, you can access the server and select the database from a list of databases.

1. From the menu, choose File - Database - Open.

2. Enter the name of the server in the Server field, for example Granite/East/Acme.

Tip

In the Server field, you can use the type-ahead feature if you have previously accessed the server you are opening. Type the first letter or two of the server name. Notes automatically selects the first server name beginning with those letters.

3. Select a database from the list of available databases on the server. If there are folders in the list, you can double-click any folder to see additional databases.

4. Click Open.
