Alarm notification options
When you turn on an alarm in a Calendar or To Do entry (or click Alarm in an entry), Notes displays the "Alarm Notification Options" dialog box.

Disable an alarm notification before this event occurs

Select this option if you want to disable an alarm for this particular Calendar entry.

Alarm will go off

Enter information in these fields to determine how long before or after a Calendar entry's start time or date the alarm goes off.

Play sound

Select a sound to play when the alarm goes off. To test the selected sound, click the Play sound icon. Note that if you have a sound selected in the Alarms Preferences dialog box (from Calendar or To Do choose Actions - Tools - Preferences), this sound selection overrides the sound you selected in Preferences. If you do not specify a sound here, and you have enabled an alarm, the sound you chose in Preferences is used.

Send mail notification with subject

Enter or select names of people to receive e-mail reminder message when the alarm goes off, and include the subject from the Calendar entry.
