Refining a Domain Search query
When you use Domain Search to find documents, you can determine how much document information to display in the results and how you want Notes to sort the results.

In the terse result document (the default), the first two columns display icons indicating relevance and type (either database or file). The relevance icon becomes lighter and narrower on results that contain fewer instances of the query. The type icon for a document in a database is shown in the picture below; the type icon for a file looks like this:

The next two columns display the date last modified, and the document title. You can select options to show more information.

Sort results by the number of matches (the more matches the document has, the higher it is on the list).

For example, if you search for documents containing the word 'software,' a document containing ten instances of 'software' will be higher in the results list than a document containing one.

Note Results can take longer when you sort by date.
