WORKING WITH DOCUMENTS

Copying and pasting a document from one database to another
You can copy documents from a view and past them into another database. Whenever possible, copy and paste documents between databases that have the same or similar form. If you paste a document into a database that doesn't share the same form as documents currently in the database, Notes uses the default form used in the new database to display the copied document content. But, if the default form or view does not have some or all the same fields, you may have trouble reading data stored in the documents.

1. Select the document(s) to copy.

2. Choose Edit - Copy (or Edit - Cut to remove the document).

3. Open the target database.

4. Choose Edit - Paste.
