SECURING YOUR DATA


To import new information from a floppy disk into your User ID
Whenever you import new information into your User ID, such as a new public key, make sure to update any copies of your User ID as well (unless you are a roaming user, whose User ID replicates).

1. Insert the floppy disk with the User ID into your disk drive.

2. Choose File - Security - User Security.
Macintosh OS X users: Notes - Security - User Security.

3. Click Your Identity - Your Certificates.

4. Click Get Certificates - Import (Merge) Notes Certificates on the right side of the dialog box.

5. Change the directory to the floppy disk drive, choose the safe copy User ID that is on the floppy disk, and click Open.
