Exporting graphics into graphics files
You can select and export a graphic in rich text in a Notes document as a graphics file. You can export into two types of graphics files: CGM and TIFF 5.0. Both file types can be used on both Windows and Macintosh.

Note You cannot export raster images (.BMP, .TIF) as metafile images (.CGM), or export metafile images (.CGM, .GMF) as raster images.

To export into graphics files

1. Open the document with the graphic(s) to export, and put the document into Edit mode.

2. Select (drag over) a graphic to export.

3. Choose File - Export.

4. In the Export dialog box, select the image type you are exporting in the "Save as type" list.

5. In the "File Name" box, either create a new file by typing a name and extension, or replace data in an existing file with the exported data by selecting the file.

6. Select the drive and directory to store the exported file.

7. Click Export.

8. If you select a file that already exists in the directory, click "Replace" to overwrite that file, or "Cancel" to return to the Export dialog box so you can enter a new filename.
