SETTING PREFERENCES

To show status of a port
You can display status information about an enabled port.

1. From the menu, choose File - Preferences - User Preferences.


2. Click Ports.

3. Select an enabled port from those listed under Communication ports. The enabled ports are indicated by a check mark.

4. Click Show Status button. A port status information screen appears.

5. Click the Cancel button or click the X in the upper right to close the screen.

Note To copy displayed port status information to the Clipboard for inclusion in a memo, click the Copy button.
