To limit the number of results returned by the search

1. Enter a number between one and 5000 in the "Maximum number of matches" field of the Maximum Results dialog box.

2. Click OK.

Notes

• Do not use commas when entering the number (e.g., 2000, not 2,000). If you need the number of results to exceed 5000, call your Domino administrator.
• Once you enter a number, it becomes the default in any database you open or create until you enter a new number. For example, if you open your Mail Inbox and set the maximum number of search results at 2000, then close it and open your Human Resources database, the maximum results in the HR database is 2000.
