SEARCHING FOR INFORMATION

Searching for documents using an example form
This condition limits your search to documents that contain a specified value in fields you specify in an example form that Notes displays.

If the Add Condition dialog box is not open, open a database that is full-text indexed, choose View - Search This View, click the More triangle, and click the "Fill out example form" icon.

Note When you add this condition, Notes still searches in documents created using all the forms in the database. To limit your search results to documents created with the form you use as the example, add a Form condition to specify the form.

1. Next to "Form" select the type of form to search for.

2. In the blank form, enter text in the appropriate fields.

3. When the condition is complete, click Add to return to the Search bar.
